The reason the connection of the Trolley Trail down to Charles Armentrout Drive (and the Anacostia Trail System) isn't in this document is because there are already plans in the design stages to do just that. Maryland State Highway Administration is at the 30% design stage of the Trolley Trail extension. Exact completion date will depend on which fiscal year the project is funded under, but the trail connection is estimated to be complete in 2020/2021.
