Speak Up HVL

The City of Hyattsville is making it easier for the public to communicate feedback and receive information. SpeakUpHVL is a way for you to find out about ongoing projects, join in on topical discussions, create, share and vote on citizen-generated ideas, and connect with others that share your interests. You can also take surveys that will help us, as a community, shape the future of how we work.

Update on Speak Up, HVL

Effective Tuesday, December 10, the forums, discussions, and ideas portion of the Speak Up site will be discontinued. The Speak Up site will continue to be used to register residents for Council Meeting public comment and to submit comments online regarding agenda items.

The content gathered from this website has been archived and shared with our City Council. We thank you for your participation.

While we do not have an alternative website to submit or discuss ideas for City government, other channels are available to provide feedback with City staff and elected officials.

You may submit comments, questions, or ideas to cityclerk@hyattsville.org, or reach out to your Council representatives directly.

Councilmembers often hold Ward meetings as open forums for resident feedback and questions. You may view the listing of upcoming meetings at hyattsville.org/calendar.

We will continue to welcome public comment at City Council meetings and all City Advisory meetings are open to the public, as well. For information on upcoming Council and committee meetings, please visit hyattsville.org/meetings.

The City also uses See, Click, Fix to receive and respond to non-emergency service requests. You can submit requests using the link below or download a free app on your mobile device on the Apple and Google stores. https://seeclickfix.com/hyattsville
